About Me

Hello! My name is Kristen Palmiere and I’m a librarian who’s always been interested in technical communication and making complicated (or not so complicated) information clear to library users. I’m currently a full-time corporate librarian and I’m almost done with a graduate certificate in technical communication from the University of North Texas.

A little more about me: I’m originally from Florida and currently reside in Dallas with my husband and cat children. I received my Masters in Library & Information Science from the University of South Florida in 2011, and moved to Texas to work as the interlibrary loan librarian at UT Dallas in 2012. Having worked in libraries since 2007, my hope is to be able to apply the tech comm skills I’m gaining to improve my libraries ability to communicate with internal customers and better assist with knowledge management efforts.
